Thank you for choosing our practice for your dental care! Your initial visit is incredibly important to us as it enables our team to get to know you and sets the course for achieving your dental health goals.
What to expect:
Your initial appointment will last around two hours. We’ll spend the first hour performing a thorough dental examination, and the second hour will be with the hygienist. This ensures that we get a full picture of your dental health and provide you with an essential dental cleaning service.
Your Dental History:
Before we dive in, we'll need some information about your previous dental experiences and medical history. We request that you fill our New Patient Form below before your appointment so we can gather all the necessary information to serve you better. If you've had any dental X-rays taken in the last six months, please forward them to our office prior to your first visit.
In-Depth Dental Examination:
Your dental examination will include digital photographs and X-rays of your mouth, alongside a soft tissue check, an oral cancer check, a periodontal (gum health) check, and an occlusion (bite) assessment, etc. These are all important steps to help us make the best possible decisions about your treatment.
Building Your Personalized Treatment Plan:
After the examination, we'll sit down together to go over our findings. We want to make sure that you understand your current dental health and answer any questions you might have. Based on this discussion, we'll create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your unique dental needs and goals.
Hygiene Appointment:
Following your examination, you'll have a session with our hygienist. This is when we'll clean and polish your teeth and give you some tips for looking after your teeth and gums at home.
Follow up appointments:
Follow up appointments can be scheduled with our reception at the end of your visit based on the treatment plan provided.
